rednile is driven by the collaborative artistic practices of Suzanne Hutton, Michael Branthwaite and Janine Goldsworthy. rednile initiate and deliver dynamic art projects in the public realm by employing a grass roots approach which focuses on experimentation, research and collaboration. Our projects often involve other artists, specialists, communities and businesses to explore the fabric of a place with an aim to create integrated art work which has impact, quality and beauty.
Hydraulic Colony – A temporary site responsive sculpture commissioned by National Trust at Cragside in Rothbury – on site until 1st November. Other artists include Jo Coupe, Wolfgang Weilder and Irene Brown.
Insider Art – A three year public realm project which culminates this Autumn with permanent public artworks installed in Kibblesworth Village, Gateshead.
Factory Nights – An dynamic approach to commissioning art and inspiring collaboration. Factory Nights are experimental and spontaneous creative sessions for groups of creative people and are held in interesting spaces or ‘hidden gems’ and has been running since 2008. rednile are always looking for new partners to work with and venues to explore!
